You're now free to shred about the entire mountain.

From icy pipes to bottomless powder, slay everything on the mountain with the Gnu Women's B-Free Snowboard Binding. This is the binding that Kaitlynn Farrington rode straight to the top of the podium in Russia. It has a medium flex for all-mountain versatility and a lightweight design. The B-Free also features a reclining highback that lets you step in and go, so you'll never have to plop your butt down in the snow to strap in ever again.

The B-Free starts with Gnu's FT-2 lightweight aluminum baseplate. The hyper-cored aluminum baseplate is stiff, responsive, and extremely lightweight. The new FT-5 Asym Highback has a radial cup shape and added surface area for maximum support, instant response, and reliable comfort. The EVA foam footbed takes the edge off big drops and flat landings. The Comprex ankle strap has a large surface area to prevent pressure points, and the Thin Fit toe strap has a flexible material that conforms to the shape of your boot for a secure fit.

As with all of Gnu's bindings, the B-Free is equipped with the Easy Rider Speed Entry Binding System. The highback reclines for quick entry and exit, so you only need to adjust the straps once and then you're good to go all season. If for some reason you do need to make some minor adjustments, it also has a micro-adjustment buckle for on-the-fly tweaks. The auto-open lever makes entry and exit even easier by opening automatically once the highback is lowered. Finally, the binding has a pressure relief button that reduces strap tension quickly on the fly for instant comfort with no hassle.

Lightweight, dialed fit, solid binding!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Full disclosure: I am a skier.
I'm also an impulse shopper/gear hoarder. One day I decided I would get back into snowboarding, so I bought myself a new kit. The last bindings I used were Ride VXN, and before that I had Burton Cartels. I'd never used rear-entry style bindings before, but I have a few friends that swear by them so I decided to give them a shot! SO stoked on these!
After you get the fit dialed in, you never really need to touch those adjustments again. Quick, no-hassle, perfect fit every time you step in! The ankle strap has an awesome pressure relief button that makes your lift ride a little more pleasant, plus an auto lever to lock the strap back in place on the way down.
These are SUPER light! Stand height is also super low compared to other bindings I've ridden/seen, so you can really feel like you're one with your board and the snow. Medium stiff flex is forgiving, but super stable for all mountain riding.
I'd highly recommend these for park and/or all mountain riding!
