Mission is go.

Sometimes training for your chosen outdoor passion can feel like your own top-secret mission. Sure, it's all legal, but most of your friends and family have no idea why you choose to put yourself through such rigorous efforts, perplexed as you spend entire weekend days out on the roads with your bike or train to jump from a plane high above the ground. To complement your punishing, or as some would say, masochistic, training schedule, make Garmin's Tactix Bravo GPS your operation companion. It'll give you an unparalleled amount of information to help you get the most out of your training.

As any operative knows, blowing your cover is one of the most dangerous parts of any operation. As such, Garmin designed the Tactix Bravo with a non-reflective body and back-lit display that can be set to a level that won't attract the attention of night vision goggles, allowing you to stay under-the-radar when the cover of darkness is your friend. Seeing your way through dark, dense areas would normally be a challenge, but with the Tactix Bravo's compass, you'll be able to guide yourself anywhere without dragging along cumbersome maps. And in case you find yourself caught up in a quick escape or unplanned crash, the watch's antenna sits encased in a carbon protective shell, with the rest of the watch reinforced far beyond the realm of the everyday to withstand what's necessary out in the field.

For more complex skydiving or underwater pursuits, turn the watch to U.S. Tide and Jumpmaster mode. It'll provide you with data on high-altitude release points and calculate when you've jumped to guide you to a desired landing point using its built-in navigation features. Once you hit the ground, use the GPS and compass to navigate your way to safety, and check the sun/moon chart and hunt/fish calendar in the event that you're in charge of dinner for the night.

Though the Tactix Bravo has some seriously impressive tactical and navigational features, it's built to adapt to rigorous multisport training schedules as well, providing metrics continuously through your run or ride to help you keep your training on track. Sync the watch to Garmin's heart rate monitors and cadence and speed sensors to gain full access to its multisport capabilities, then upload all of your training to Garmin Connect or Garmin Base Camp software to share workouts, track your progress, and dive into your training log to get a detailed picture of how well you're doing.
