Amazing watch
I am new to Garmin but had been curious about them and the additional features (eg Garmin Coach) as I’ve wanted to push myself further with running (I am an ex lifter whose new to running and unsure how to train “properly”). This watch is excellent and has more than I need - I was torn between this and the 265s, and I am so happy with my choice of the 165M. Best investment and loving it. Can’t imagine life and training without it.

As advertised and more
I bought this watch for the battery life, the improvement of data in my training (in particular my running), but also appreciate the added training features for other activities. It’s a good looking watch as does what it says. I’d recommend to anyone.

Great Watch
Made the jump from my Apple watch and glad I did. Frustrating to get it up and running initially, (I am a bit technologically impaired), but finally watched a YouTube video by a third party and was able to put it all together. Love all the features, it's perfect for me.

Love everything about it!
I bought my Forerunner 165 the day after I began a half marathon training class. I couldn’t love it more! The display is so bright and easy to read. My favorite features are the audio prompts. I programmed it to remind me of my running pace every two minutes, which has been so helpful for my training. And the fact that it is purple makes it the absolute perfect watch!

Great watch if it would stay connected to my phone
I've had this watch over a month now and it's been a great running watch, the issues I've had is that it just will not stay connected to my phone; I don't get notifications for calls or texts even though it's on, weather app is two days delayed but I think it's because it can never connect to my phone, the battery last tops 5 days. Just had higher expectations for this watch.

Garmin Forerunning 145 to this
I bought this product about a month ago, I was training for a half marathon, but have strained my hamstring. I was loving the features and still use it daily. I like how it will show you which muscles you are training when you record a strength training workout.

ForeRunner 165 Music
I have been using this watch for over a month now and love it. The interface is the perfect size and the navigation through the watch is easy once learned. It has been helping me improve my running and learn more about my running each time used. The music feature is great because i love not having to have my phone. Headphones, Garmin watch, shoes, shorts and im off and running with no worries. Highly recommended and i havent even scratched the surface on its many other features and tracking

So far really liking it as an amateur runner
just getting back into shape and this has been a fun tool to help track things along the way. Haven't really used the music feature yet. build quality and software are top notch. tracking all seems accurate. Only thing I'd change is battery life and maybe a dedicated hiking mode instead of just walking (seems fair for a running watch)
