Not for me probably for you

    Material - Awesome
Color - Spot on to photo and looks great in person (I purchased the Terracotta)
Fit - Boxy! I had to return it unfortunately, not flattering on me personally.. but it seems like most people adore it, maybe the fit is better for you.

    cozy~

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: m/L

I eyed this shirt for a few months, and finally bought 2. So glad it did! It's super cozy! I wavered on size, based on the reviews of this shirt running large. I went with the m/L (I'm 5'10, 135lbs), and am glad that I did. Before washing the shirt it was VERY long in the arms and covered my bootie, yet after washing it hung at my hip and the arms were just "stylishly long". If I'd gone with the xs/s it would have been short on me. I LOVE this shirt, and I will be living in it all winter and early spring.......and next fall, winter, and early spring (I live the Pacific Northwest). Buy it! You'll love it too!

    Can't wait to wear this!

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS/S

I originally bought this in the wine but sent it back for the green. I love it! It does run large though. I got it in the XS/S and it fits perfect. I usually take a M but Free People sizes seem to vary a lot. I don't like that the bottom is as wide as it is, so I will be taking it in to make it more to my taste. I can't wait for it to get cold enough to wear! <3

    Fantastic, cozy top

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS/S

This top has held up amazingly, even after dozens of washes; no fading, shrinking, or scratchiness. The fabric is a bit thicker than a standard T-shirt and it's so, so soft. There are a lot of little details that set it apart from a frumpy sweatshirt; like the two-tone contrasting color used in the over-sized cowl and along the back hem. The sleeves are extra long too, which adds cozy factor.

On me, the fit is beyond large. It could easily fit two of me with room to spare. The length, however, is perfect, hitting about mid-hip. I wish it was a bit smaller, but I still adore it and get compliments whenever I wear it.

    Rainy Day Cozy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: xs/s

This sweatshirt compliments the rainy day weather we've been having. It is soft, baggy, and lightweight. I feel like I'm wrapped in a blanket every time I wear it. I'm also looking forward to having this as my go to summer night cover up.

    Casually cool

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Nothing really technical about this top, it's just simply easy to wear, casual and comfortable. The fit is flattering and the neck hangs well. Great for casual night out or sitting around the campfire!

    People will covet thy coziness

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: M/L

Um, if anybody's looking for me, I'm just burrowed in this sweater. Thanks.

Mid-weight, flowy, comfy fabric that drapes around you for a relaxed but not shabby look. Asymmetrical, dreamy, swingy cut that comes down to just around your bum. Ridiculously cozy cowleage that makes wearing a scarf obsolete, and you can even wear it as a cute little hood if you're chilly.

Overall, it's a darling, comfortable, and flattering top that could be layered under for winter, worn alone during the fall or spring, and thrown on for cool summer evenings.

I'm 5'9" and 135 pounds, and the M/L was a long, loose fit on me. I'm not swimming in the arms or the chest area. An XS/S did fit me fine in the arms and torso, but the bottom of the sweater hit me exactly at hip-line, and I felt the long shape created with the larger size looked nicer!

    I'll take 7 more, please

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large

I would, could, shall, wear this daily for the forseeable future.

It's the coziest sweater situation that I've ever had the pleasure of sporting from the office to the gym to House of Cards marathons.

The cowl neck is super cozy, and as I'm nearly always wearing a scarf, saves me a step in the morning. It doubles as a hood for when the Wasatch weather decides to take a break from Spring and hop back to winter.

I'm 5'6" 140#, and got the Medium/large. I *maybe* would be better suited to the smaller size, but I prefer my sweatshirts nice and loosey goosey.

    Comfy and Pretty

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS/S

I bought this in the lilac color and it is soft and feminine. It definitely runs big, so size down... maybe even two sizes! I went with the XS/S and am glad I did. I normally wear S or M in Free People.

    Best top ever

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS/S

I want to wear this everyday! I wish it came in more colors. It definitely runs large, but is somehow still flattering. Comfy and looks good...what more could you ask for?

    Perfect Gift

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought this as a gift for my Mother and Sister. They both really like the loose fit and Cozy Cowl neck. Fits great, super soft comfy fabric. It looks great and feel like like your old faded favorite worn in sweatshirt.

    Such a great gift!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS/S

I got this in charcoal as a Christmas gift for my mom. She loved it so much that I got her the same one in Oatmeal for her birthday. She's got a pretty small frame and the xsmall/small fit perfectly on her. It's loose and flowing but not too big. The fabric is very soft and hangs great on the body without being too shapeless.

I think the best thing about this top is how it looks great on so many different people. I've seen girls in the office in their 20's rock it and it looks amazing on my 61yr old mom!

Can't go wrong with this sweater!

    sweater of the year?!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: m/l

    Winning!
I have seen SO many of my fellow BC employees rocking this sweater, and no one cares that you might have a twin on any given day because this sweater is THAT awesome. I think it looks amazing in pretty much every color.

I was worried about the limited sizing, especially for being a curvy XL-type, but the m/l fits. I was impressed. They figure out how to cut it so it flows nicely on most people.

In any other situation with a garment claiming to fit a m/l it would just look like a moo-moo on me, but this one works so well. Major kudos to the designer. If I was keeping track, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the most worn item in my closet this season.

    Great

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: XS/S

As most of the other 22 reviewers have said, this is awesome! I have not purchased a shirt I like this much in a long time. The cowl neck is perfect! There is enough fabric that it is actually flowy, and can even double as a hood! I ordered the oatmeal color, in xs/s and it fit. I am pretty standard medium and this fits perfect and still has great flow. If I could I would never take this thing off!

    Comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large

I wear this sweater all the time, it can be dressed up or down, so I wear it out to dinner with a necklace and jeans or camping with sweat pants. It's thin but not see through material and the cowl neck is super fun. I would buy a size down, it is pretty baggy.

    baggy not shabby

A lot of girls here at Backcountry have this sweater, and I thought I would try it out! I am 5'2'' 100lbs and I ordered an XS I love baggy sweaters but this one is pretty long in the arms for me. I love the cowl neck , and I got it in oatmeal! The length on it goes over my bum, it is perfect for leggings and boots. It is super cozy, I love it.

I have a question that I desperately need answered... how long down does this sweater come down to? I was going to get this for somebody, and they like sweaters likes this to cover the back very well! I was probably going to get the M/L.

      Hi Molly!

Center back length in the M/L is about 25". Center front is about 20". Mine has been washed a couple times, so it may have shrunk a tiny bit, also it has an unfinished hem so that does curl up a little. Check out the detail images - they accurately show the length of this sweater on a real human.

      Hopefully that helps!
