What to wear when you hear the clock ticking in your head.

Fox Racing made the Race Bike Sock just tall enough to protect your ankle bone from getting scratched up but not so tall that it’d cause overheating during your timed run. In fact, Fox Racing added mesh tops to increase breathability and wicking performance while you dust the competition.

Don't buy these !

Wearing them for the first time the toe ripped open while riding. Guess I should of read the reviews before buying these.

Dirt holders

Socks hold up ok. My gripe with them is that they stretch out so much that dirt gets in the fabric and then i have a bunch of dirt in my sock.

My Fox Socks Rock!

They are socks. They go on your feet. Before your shoes. Had them for a while, worn them on long and short rides and have not had any tearing in the toe or other areas. Only gripe would be that they shrunk a bit in the dryer but stretched out eventually after a few wearings so...

tear-able socks

These socks are horrible, I cant believe that Fox had gotten away with selling them for so long. They just do not hold up. I recently bought 3 pairs and one by one they got holes at the big toe. I switched feet until I got a hole in the other side of the sock until I was down to 1 pair. In addition to the toe holes, the fabric is wearing thin in the heels and wherever they have to stretch over your foot.

Whats the deal Fox?

First of all, I am a huge Fox Racing gear fan. I own multiple Fox jerseys, a helmet, shorts, and gloves. All of them are tough and functional. These socks, however, are probably the biggest let down I have ever experienced from a manufacture. The socks worked the first ride and by the second a toe hole ripped. I figured, defect perhaps, so, I ordered another pair. On a wet ride with the new socks both tore holes though the top. I had to pitch both pairs. I may never buy Fox brand socks ever again. I switched to deFeet and may never look back.

Great to line the inside of your trashcan with

After 1 ride, the toe box looked like it was ready to burst. I hoped that the fabric was just stretched a bit and would return to normal after a wash, but it seemed like these were doomed to fail. I swapped feet to hopefully get more life out of them, but they eventually got so many holes that they're unwearable after maybe 3 rides. I had super thin Pearl Izumi socks last far longer. These are a complete waste of money--they're even useless a rag.

Save your money. Do not buy the 2010 version that's brown with tan toe/heel/cuff. Be skeptical of the new version. I'd recommend NLZwear for value and Smartwool for quality socks instead.

Nothing special

These are ok, I think they breathe just because they are super thin and not due to the material. I'd rather put my $6 towards smartwool.

Breathable sock

I love the look and feel of these socks... Unfortunately I wore a hole right through the big toe on like my 6th use. I'm ordering another pair right now.

Super pro socks

These socks are very (very) nice!

They feel like a long-distance runner socks, your feet are fresh all the time and your ankle bone is absolutely safe.

Another good thing: the socks didn't shrink after washing them (That happenned to me once :S).

Great for the dirt lines and comfort

Awesome socks, they feel great and give you that bad ass dirt line we all seek to have. The fit is nice, and they are high enough to deflect rouge sticks and rocks.

Just fine

These are comfortable and perform well. However, I think the true test of a sock is how long they last. So I'll try to update this after I wear them for a while.

Poor toe-end sturdiness

As I have big toes that are significantly longer (~1/2 inch) than than my second toes, the big toes tend to make holes in my socks due to greater pressure on the end of my socks over time, usually after several months. With these Fox socks, while seemingly well constructed and snug in all the right places, I got a hole in one after the first use. Needless to say, I am not pleased with the relative strength of the socks' weave.
