Stormy days never felt this good.

The Women's Nina Pant is FlyLow Gear's toughest pant for nasty days on the mountain. Its fully taped, 3-layer Intuitive shell provides reliable waterproofing on the snowiest days, and it still remains breathable for your comfort. YKK waterproof zippers enhance the Nina's waterproofing in ways that most ski pants don't. Zippered vents at the inner and outer thighs circulate airflow for maximum ventilation, and powder cuffs keep the snow off your legs. A freerider fit provides plenty of room for layers, and it's the style of choice among the park rats. FlyLow Gear reinforced the bottom legs with Cordura for added durability.

    My Favorite!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I just bought these pants for this upcoming skiing season. By far my favorite pants! I have always been a huge Flylow fan, and these to do not disappoint!
I love the fit! I did not size up, and got my regular size Medium. I feel like Flylow makes things for a looser style. The waist and pants still fit great and still gives me a lot movement! Everyone was right when they said they will make your butt look great!
I took these on a winter hike in the snow and they preformed awesome! When I got toasty, I just unzipped some of the side vents. I love that these pants offer inner and outer side vents! These would be great for touring!
    Seriously considering a second pair!

    Can't wait for more snow!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought new ski gear for my wife for the season:

"First impressions of these pants are great. I'm 5'8", 135# and the medium is the perfect length with ski boots on. Super waterproof, great fit across the butt and thighs. A bit baggier than pants I've used in the past, but I don't feel like I'm swimming in them either. They seem like they'll be good on warmer days, but have enough space for layering underneath on cold days."

    Great fit

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

It is sometimes hard to find snow pants that fit athletic body types. These pants do a great job. They are not obscenely baggie but have enough space to accommodate and the Velcro tabs in the waist work really well to dial in the fit and prevent waist gap. The material stretches well. Have not put them to the test on the hill yet, but am psyched for the fit.

    So bright

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large

I'm a huge fan of bright colors and this yellow is right up my alley. It's a nice bright pop against the white snow. While only being a 20k pant, it still seems to keep me fairly dry.

I did notice that these seem a bit snug, but they have a slight stretch to them, so it's nothing that cannot be dealt with.

The only downfall to the lovely bright color is how easily it shows dirt. It's almost like being a white pant.

    Skier girl falls in love

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Ok, let's be honest it hard to find a clothing company that understands the importance of both style and performance. So when Flylow came out with this 3layer shell pant, in rad colors with tons of pockets I jumped on it immediately. I wasn't disappointed. This fit is awesome not as bulky as some of their other insulated pants and the fit is amazing.

Best part? At the end of my 110 days of skiing last season, they were still waterproof and in tact.

I bought them again this year in a new color.

    Stoked!!!!

    LOVE

I love these ski pants. I have always had a hard time with ski clothes, I get all ready to go and then I feel like I can't move at all but these pants are warm and I feel like I can move around. I wear them with a thin base layer on warmer days but can also wear them with sweat pants and a base layer on super cold days without losing range of motion. They are flattering without being too form fitting and super water proof. I couldn't be happier with them.

    Enjoy the face shots

    • Fit: True to size

I gave these to a friend as a gift and having seen them in action, they are everything I could have asked for. The fit is great, flattering, especially for ski pants, the Cordura reinforcements make them durable when riding in rocky or tree ridden terrain, and the 20k waterproofing means that you will stay dry, no matter what. When you're really putting in work, the inner and outer thigh zip vents make it so you can stay cool and don't overheat on your skin up as well! These work really well with a midlayer underneath for resort riding as well, offering enough wind and water protection to keep in the warmth! Further, the waterproof zippers work well, the pockets offer easy access and plenty of storage space, and the powder cuffs keep snow from leaking in through the bottom. Overall, these pants are great for resort riding, backcountry riding, and everything in between!

fit well! flattering and can move

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

    • Size Bought: Medium

I have 'skier' legs, and had a size large in these pants a couple years ago. Ripped them badly, and debated between medium and large (5'6, 150, 'athletic' body type). Went with the mediums, and am so much happier than my larges! Super waterproof so far, flattering shape yet I still can MOVE (and it's gotten better the more I've worn them), and I love the improved thigh zips. The zippers now dead end at either end, and so you never have to worry about which end both zippers ended up at. It's a little thing but has been great!

    on the short side

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

The pants look awesome, but the smalls were a full size too small and I don't own a medium in anything. Specifically they were snug in the waist and quite short on me--they didn't touch the tops of my feet. I'm 120# and 5'6". I have longish legs, but I don't normally have a problem with regular length things being too short on me. I could have exchanged for a medium, but I ordered the Trew Tempest pant (http://www.backcountry.com/trew-gear-tempest-pant-womens) with these so I could decide which I liked better and I'm going with the Trew based on fit and burliness since these shall be the one pant to rule them all for me (hopefully for many seasons). But the double vented pant legs would have been real nice for skinning!

Oh! And I almost couldn't even button them because the button loop was too tight and it seemed like the button would rip out after enough attempts to push it through the tiny button hole. That could have been a defect, though.

FlyLow Gear Nina Pant - Women's

    Hey kel105702575,

Size Small has a 29 inch inseam and fits waists from 24-26 inches. Medium has a 30 inch inseam and fits waists from 26-28 inches so I would base your decision off of that.

Sounds like you're a smaller girl so an XS could work but keep in mind - if you decide on the smaller end, it might restrict movement a little bit. Again, I would recommend basing your decision of the sizing chart.

    I hope that helps!

    Great Backcountry Pants

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just like its matching partner, the Flylow Billie Coat, these pants were the pants I wore everyday in the backcountry. They stand up to the elements, the material moves well with the body, and they look great. Not too baggy, not too tight. There are ventilation zips for hiking in and several pockets to choose from (however I don't think I put much in those pockets because it can hinder your movement). They are just shell pants so the days that are really cold I would choose a different insulated pant.

I wore a size medium and they fit well. I'm 5'5", 125 lbs and a size 26 in jeans. I wouldn't go any smaller because of the length.

    Fit and Function

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It's hard finding a pair of women's ski pants that actually fits right for athletic women. Right? Not too tight, not too baggy. Still flattering and comfortable. Not too hot or too cold. The Nina Pants are the first pair of women's ski pants I've had that I felt 100 percent confident and comfortable in. I'll wear these things to the grocery store no problem. On top of that, they're totally made for mountain conditions. Waterproof zippers. My butt never got wet sitting on cold chairlifts. And on backcountry tours, I just opened up the side vents (there's no mesh in the vents, so snow occasionally does get in there...) and I'd cool right off. I wore the yellow color which got a little dirty after a season of hard use but they're pretty easy to wash.
