Favorite Pants

These are my favorite pants to wear in spring-fall. Seriously puts me in a better mood wearing them because if feels like you're wearing nothing at all they're so light. Also tough and seem to be reasonably water resistant. I removed the zipper tags to make them look a little more appropriate for causal workday wear. Bought a second pair a week after the first.

New fit is too small

I love my old pair and ordered a new color with exactly the same size and model... to my surprise, they are way too small and a different fit from the previous model. I had to return it, the previous fit was MUCH BETTER.

Beware of the new improved fit

I purchased the Vardag trouser just two months ago in stone grey and thought that they were perfect, 5 stars. I ordered a second pair in suede brown and the same size, 32/32. Apparently this is the “improved fit.”  The waist was so tight I could barely button them and the length was about two inches longer. Very disappointing. Needless to say I am returning them.

30" just isn't "short" enough

Really wish they made their mens "short" inseam a 28". Really want to buy these products, but I know they wouldn't fit.

The perfect “all rounder”

These pants are the perfect everyday go-to for work in the backyard or hiking; even if you have to go out for a casual dinner, you can’t go wrong. The elastic at the bottom makes them look at it more modern, less hiker feeling, but you know the material can hold up if you take a trip to northern Ontario and back without any issues.

My new “everyday pants”

So I initially ordered these to have a pair of lightweight hiking pants for the days when it’s too cold for shorts but too warm for a heavier pair of trousers like my vidda pros. After receiving them I was really surprised with how light and comfortable they were. They look sharp enough to go to a casual dinner in, but are also equally fitting for sitting around the campfire. The zippered pockets are one or the primary reasons I purchased them because I’ve had my pocket knife or other small items fall out of my pocket when sitting down more times than I remember. Now here is what really surprised me about the pants. In case you didn’t know, Vardag means “everyday life” in Swedish. I have found this to be the perfect name for these pants because I have worn them nearly every single day since I received them about a month ago. Because of their versatility I find myself putting them on first thing in the morning and basically going about my entire day without changing out of them until bedtime. They really do live up to their name of “everyday life” pants. I have slowly purchased several Fjallraven products over the past year or so including Vidda pro pants, Anorak No. 8, Organic cotton sweatshirt, high coast hip pack, and these pants. If I could only choose one Fjallraven product out of all of those it would likely be these pants. That said, every item I have received from them has been of the highest quality and gives me the fizz each time I use it. I’m grateful God has allowed me to own such fine items during my short time on this earth. In closing, my experience with these pants and Fjallraven, Kifaru, Leupold, or other high end manufacturers in general is to buy quality one time and be done with it. I own a lot less stuff now than I used to and my closet has very few items in it compared to most, but every item I own is of the highest quality and I feel has enhanced my enjoyment exploring the creation we call earth.

My Favourite pants!

Great pants! I have pretty much every pair from Fjallraven and this would be my favourite! Love the waist elastic, great when you had too much too eat :) Please bring this in Black colour, I want to wear them when I want to dress up a bit :)

The most comfortable and practical pair of trousers I've worn for a long time

Got a pair few weeks ago and the only time I took them off is for a wash. Perfect for day to day use, perfect for casual, day to day look yet very practical and easy to take care of (just wash dirt off and you're good to go :) The stretchy material provides a very comfortable fit. I'm normally in between M-L sizes (depending on the brand) but on this occasion M was a perfect fit.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I was searching for a pair of durable, technical, and good looking pair of pants and came across these. I absolutely love them and they perfectly fit the bill across the board. I wear them hiking, adventure cycling, to the office, and for travel/city use. I love the way they fit and look. They fit true to size in my normal 32"/30". You can never go wrong with the G-1000 material and the added stretch is a huge bonus. Please never stop making these and offer more colors!
