Good but toasty for the summer

I expected a pair of bike shoes for summer use in the city, that will look casual and have good flat pedal grip. Unfortunately, this shoes are constructed from rather thick material and doesn't breath as well as I was expecting. Also, the sizing is on bigger side. Five Ten models from the past usually run small but Adidas version is bigger. My regular is 11US and this shoes feel like being at half-size larger than I need.
