Why We Like The Niad Moccasym Climbing Shoe
When we effortlessly pull on a pair of Niad Moccasym climbing shoes, we know from experience that the simple, low-profile design is deceptive to its performance. With sticky rubber and a flexible midsole, there's no shortage of friction when smearing, jamming, edging, or placing a powerful toe. The breathable, form-fitting leather keeps them comfortable on long routes, while the extended toe rubber adds more options for aggressive problems.

Feel great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like the feel of these so far. I previously had the Anasi Moccasyms that these replaced, and after looking at reviews I went half a UK size up as the extra rubber apparently means they stretch less. A few sessions in they feel tight but comfortable, so we'll see how they break in over the next couple of months.

Still the best slipper on the market!!
I don't know if I like them as much as the originals; however, I still really like this updated version (3rd pair, with a 10 year break from my 2nd to 3rd pair). I use them as my gym shoe for bouldering. They are super comfortable, and I have not ran into a problem where I thought I needed anything more aggressive. I went down a half size from street shoe, but I like a snug fit.

Lost the Mocc Magic
Addidas ruined the Moccs. They took a simple shoe with excellent fit and sensitivity and added a bunch of unnecessary rubber and too much stiffness. Bring back the old version. These shoes have poor fit, no sensitivity, and an unnecessary rubber toe cap for what - toe hooks while bouldering in a flat shoe? Don't buy.

Worst show ever
Really unfair to completely change a shoes from soft to stiff midsole and make it completely uncomfortable to wear. I loved the first version. Don’t buy these shoes.
