Carbonlite Skate H-Plus Ski

Like a rocket tied to a peregrine falcon, the Fischer Carbonlite Skate H-Plus Ski goes fast, and like a rocket-bird, it's got levels of power not generally found in nature. Unlike jet-powered fowl, however, the Carbonlite is designed to blast over icy and hard snow, thanks to a pre-waxed DTG World Cup Plus base structure that's especially ground to excel in hard and fast conditions, and a 150 camber profile that places the contact points of the ski further apart, giving you increased stability and better glide on hard snow. Every ski is guaranteed to be have identical flex and camber profiles as well, because the entire shaping and pressing process is computer-controlled, eliminating variability between boards.

Weight savings are key when it comes to increasing top-end speed, and Fischer has put the Carbonlite on a diet to ensure it doesn't have one ounce of fat on it. Checking in at a full 2.5oz lighter than the soft-snow Speedmax, it's made with a Carbonlite Air Core, reinforced with a multiaxial carbon fabric laminate that gives the ski a stiff flex with a load of rebound energy and torsional stiffness, so none of the energy you put into it is wasted. Power Edge construction reinforces the chassis of the ski, increasing torsional stiffness further while making the ski stronger and more durable, and to further lighten the load, Fischer cut out the tip of the Carbonlite, reducing swing weight and encouraging a quicker ski return for easier, faster strides with less tip drag. A World Cup sidecut keeps the ski tracking in the direction of your forward momentum and ensures maxiumum stability and energy savings, so if you ever do meet a rocket/bird hybrid, he won't stand a chance.
