Judging from the glossy pages of ski magazines and your social media feed, it's easy to assume the backountry is filled with nothing but bluebird skies and bottomless blower pow. But, all it takes is one day in the backcountry to realize conditions can run the gamut from bulletproof melt-freeze crusts to wind-buffed pow to creamy corn come spring. Designed to handle just about any condition you encounter in the backcountry, the Faction Women's Agent 100 Ski will be the board you want for all but the deepest powder days, and even then you'll get by.

Faction engineered the Agent with a super-versatile 102mm waist to float pow, carve clean lines down wind-buffed aprons, and hold an edge when you encounter icy crusts in exposed terrain. This ski climbs like a dream thanks to a lightweight design and rockered tip that makes breaking trail through deep snow a whole lot easier. Not only that, but the tip rocker, camber underfoot, and slightly rockered tail keeps the Agent playful in powder, solid in firmer conditions, and easy to maneuver when you're working your way down steep, techy lines and pinner couloirs. Lightweight backcountry skis have a reputation of being uninspiring noodles on the descent, so Faction gave the Agent a stiff and responsive paulownia/carbon core to enhance torsional stiffness and save weight and utilized an inherently stable sandwich construction with full-length sidewalls.
