Great Tent!

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Took it on a river trip and was great! Easy to put up, take down, and held up very well. Didn't have any issues with sand in my tent like the others I went with.

Follow up on initial review

I have used this extensively since Sept 2022. THE GOOD The design of this tent is absolutely wonderful. I love the roommyness of it and the layout. I did not know if I would like the footprint extending to the vestubles , thinking rain would be a problem, bot it woks great, keeping thing clean and nice. The rain fly woks really good too...THE BAD... Quality is not good for this caliber of a tent. The rainfly, floor and the foot print really should be of a thicker material as they started failing due to rocks, water and UV. I can compare this to a similarly priced tent from a competitor that has heavier gauge materials in these areas which hold up much better. If Eureka improved these , even at a higher price, the tent would be on the top of the heap!

Alaska Tough

Not necessarily a backpacking tent, but a sturdy and bomber tent when weight is not a big consideration and sturdiness and longevity are. To an outfitter of remote river rafting trips in Alaska, these tents rock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The El Capitan 2 Outfitter was very easy to setup. It is quite spacious for two people to sleep comfortably. It is very durable and sheds wind and rain easily. There is plenty of head space. It is also light which makes it easier to carry.

Amazing tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this tent and have the opportunity to use unit twice so far. Excellent size and value and super easy to put together. We will be venturing out again soon and I can not wait! Kept us dry all night with no leakage issues.

Spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love it! It has more room than most considered to be a 2 person tent. It has 2 large areas separate to store gear so you have your space to rest. It also comes with a front and rear door making it easier to enter and exit. It's very lightweight, yet durable for even the toughest of weather. I totally recommend.

Great for car camping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty insane tent for the price. A little big for backpicking/back country hiking trips but honestly for car camping/things more casual this is perfect. I loved the colours and the room is actually so much bigger than most 2 people tents.

Good Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are more than happy with our El Capitan 2 outfitter tent. Set up was easy as can be even with waning light. It was just roomy enough for my wife and I to comfortably sleep in. It kept the wind out and was exactly what we were hoping for.
