RC1 Binding

Dynafit partnered with former world-class skimo racer and renowned carbon boot builder, Pierre Gignoux, to develop the lightest speed touring binding on the market. Weighing in at just 75g (2.6 oz), the RC1 marks a new chapter in the world of ultralight ski mountaineering bindings. Designed to be used exclusively with Dynafit's carbon RC1 boot, this binding will not work with a standard tech compatible AT boot.

In addition to its minimalist design, the RC1 saves weight by employing a high resistance carbon toe piece to reduce its overall weight. The super simple heel is composed of 7075 aluminum alloy and plastic, allowing for lighting fast transitions and making the binding a gram counting skimo racer's dream. Switching between walk and ski mode is achieved by simply flipping the red tab over the pins, while stepping into the binding is comparable to traditional tech bindings. To step out of the binding, push the tab just above the toe pin to release the boot from the toe fittings.
