I’ve been searching for a pair of high rise work pants to use for fieldwork in the southern US. After reading reviews, I thought I’d give these a go. I’m about 5’6 and 135 pounds with a 27-28 inch waist and 36 in hips. After reading the reviews, I decided to order a size up from what I normally wear and got a size 6 (I’m typically a 4 everywhere else). These pants fit great, if all I had to do was walk around and stand. I’m not sure why they’re called “flex” pants because there is no give or stretch at all to them and there’s no way I’d be able to work in them as they don’t allow for much mobility comfortably. I feel that if I wore to size up even more I would be left with the hips fitting comfortably and the waist being too big. I’m sad because the pants themselves look nice and are great quality, just disappointed with the fit and sizing.
