Description

Water, juice, margaritas...

When your ski pack's hydration bladder looks like a chemical concoction of everything you put in it for the past few years, get Dakine's Replacement Reservoir. Its low-profile Shape-Loc center baffle keeps the reservoir in shape until the last drop, and the removable hose allows for easy cleaning so you don't make the same mistake twice. Dakine set the high-flow bite valve at 45 degrees for easier drinking, and there are on/off positions for extra security. The reservoir's top opens wide for simple filling.

  • FDA-approved polyurethane
  • Low-profile Shape-Loc center baffle
  • Quick disconnect hose
  • High-flow bite valve with on/off positions
  • Fold-and-slide wide opening

Kind of expensive for a plastic bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's a little tough to drop $35 on what is essentially a plastic bag without feeling a little taken advantage of. That being said, the bag itself is well put together. The material is thick, and I'm comfortable that it'll hold up well over time. The mouthpiece and valve is great as well. If you're already got a bag that you can connect this to, it's a lot cheaper alternative to grabbing a new camelbak or another dedicated water pack.

DEAL!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I originally bought a Dakine backpack without a reservoir, but later on decided to purchase this reservoir. The price is right BOB! I've owned a Camelbak as well and I would say the reservoirs are very much the same... It's the backpack that makes the difference. Although my backpack is bigger and to be used with skis, I've also used it on my bike. It's about staying hydrated!
