The Axis 12.0 is a slightly sleeker than the 10.5, but otherwise it's the same. Both boats have minimal keels and high-volume bows. Minimal keel makes spins and turns simple and lots of air up front keeps you riding high on top the water. If you're heading out for a day on one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes, you'll want to drop the TruTrak adjustable skeg. This blade lowers into the water and instantly helps you move in a straight line.

Comfort Fit Recreational Seating adjusts for a custom fit every time. The padded foam seat adjusts to fit your frame. Tweak hip pads and leg lifters so your back isn't barking within minutes of being on the water. When it's time to explore more challenging routes and you need a more aggressive stance, the Axis is ready for thigh braces—no drilling required. Attach the mesh pocket to the bow deck so you have easy access to rain gear, beverages, or a quick snack. If you're heading out for a full day, the stern hatch storage keeps most things dry, though it's best to leave non-waterproof items at home. Your favorite sugar-crystal cat figurine probably won't survive a day on the lake.
