The Crankbrothers Multi-10 Tool is slimmer and more compact than the Multi-17. While it lacks the chain tool and nipple wrenches, it contains all the super handy tools that you'll really use on a regular basis on the trail or on the tailgate to keep your bike rolling smoothly. In fact, its smaller size makes it a great choice for the saddle bag on your road bike. After all, how often are you breaking chains or truing wheels on the side of the road?

The Multi-10 Tool has a lightweight, rust-proof aluminum frame that houses the essential elements of repair. You'll get seven hex wrenches -- 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8mm. You'll also get Phillips and common screwdrivers along with a T-25 Torx bit that's handy for brake rotor bolts. All of the tool bits are made from super durable 6150 high tensile plated steel. Its folded length is 3.5" (89mm).

This has become my favorite multi tool to use in my tool box. Other multi tools I've used I've had trouble with durability - ones that loosen up over time, bend allen's, strip bolts. This tool, while slightly heavier, feels really solid in your hand and stands up again lots of abuse. The only drawback I can see with this tool is that it doesn't have a chain tool, but try to just keep this one in my toolbox from fear of losing it on the trail.

Great little tool for all sorts of rides. I don't like carrying a ton of tools and this is a good compromise of tools vs. weight. Who is going to do major repairs while on a ride (if I blow a spoke or chain my ride is done and I'll limp back or call someone) Everybody needs to carry one of these tools.

great tool, very small and fits great in my underseat bag. weighs about 14oz so it is a tad much, but its not that bad. good variety of tools so you can tighten almost anything on the bike. props!
