Cobalt 3 Wheelset - 29in

With the proven design of the Cobalt 3 29 inch Wheelset, Crank Brothers offer a lightweight and stiff pair of hoops that are ideal for trail riding and XC racing. The Cobalt 3’s unique design redistributes mass closer to the hub to reduce rotational inertia, which results in a tougher and faster spinning wheel. The twinpair spoke design enhances lateral stiffness and also allows Crank Brothers to save weight by using only 24 spokes. At the heart of the wheelset, Crank Brothers use a set of custom straight pull hubs. The rear hub’s reliable three-pawl design offers lightning-fast engagement and is built to last. The front hub features end caps for a 15mm axle and it’s also adaptable to a 9mm quick release axle. The rear wheel has a 12x142mm rear thru axle that can also be converted to 9x135mm.
