Amazing shoe for big and tall guys w/ large feet
This shoe is my favorite. I own Brooks Beast and many other high end shoes for hiking. This shoe is the most comfortable and solid I've ever owned. 1000% recommend. I wear size 15 W, I'm 6'5" 320lbs and a daily agreasive hiker. Great job Columbia💯

Great hikers but size up
After purchasing the low top Escape Thrive Ultra I figured these would be the same but in a mid boot. Since the ultras do not come in waterproof I decide to buy these. First thing I noticed is the sizing. These are 1/2 size smaller than the ultras. Maybe because of the more pointed toe box is the culprit. Also the midsole is not as cushioned as the Ultras. More firm but very comfortable. Quality is top notch. I wouldn’t buy these again because I wear a size 15 and that is the biggest they come in. For some reason there are hardly any reviews of these and the ultras on YouTube. Columbia doesn’t market these like competing brands of Keen and Merrell. Which they should send out to shoe reviewers on YouTube. When consumers search for top hiking boots or trail runners these will never show up on any lists because of the lack marketing. Overall a great lightweight hiker that just needs a wider toe box. Well a few more color selections wouldn’t hurt either.

Offensively comfortable and fashionable
I was looking for a comfy pair or waterproof shoes fir every day wear, urban and light forest hiking, and hopefully some that are still fashionable. These shoes are IT. I'm technically 8.5 but I like having a little extra space because I have flat feet, so I always go up to 9, and these fit perfectly. I live in Chicago where it gets very windy and cold, and when you combine that with rain, it can be very unpleasant - these shoes look and feel like they will definitely protect against such elements. And the comfort is OFF THE SCALE. I love wearing Brooks running shoes (like Ghost 9) because they feel like walking on clouds... and I swear these feel even better. I've already broken them with 2 days of walking around (~16000 steps/day) and my feet never got tired. Perfectly fitted and very well cushioned. This is one of the best shoe purchases I've ever made.

Most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned
I wanted some shoes to wear outside of work. Something comfortable but also with some style and not the boring look you’d get elsewhere. I was hesitant not only at the price but also the fit as the description said it runs small. Add to the fact this was an online only item it wasn’t like I could go to the store and try on the size there. I normally wear 12s but opted for 13 and I have to say for me at least these are the perfect fit. Not too big and not too small. I have a decent amount of cushion where I don’t really need those gel insoles. The rubber exterior with the color accents definitely makes this shoe stand out. Now these will mostly only be worn two days a week or anytime I’m off for work so I hope these will last me a long time.

Excellent outdoor shoe
Purchased for disc golf. Very satisfied with the fit and balance. Easily an all day wear if you wanted to. Looking forward to many rounds.

Awesome ingress
Love the soft liner and large heel loop. Makes for super smooth ingress. Perfect mix between traditional trail boot and sneaker.
