One year and no longer waterproof

I've had these boots about a year and half, and while I was initially impressed, that feeling has faded. I've taken these boots snowshoeing on several snow backpacking trips and have spent several weeks in sub-zero temps with them, and based on that, here's what I've got for you. Warmth: Pretty good. Warm down to about -20. I've worn them in temps down to -40 (with 2x socks)and while my feet were cold, they weren't dangerously cold: I just needed footwarmers. Waterproofing: They did great the first season I wore them, but were no good by the second. My feet were wet pretty much the entire time I warm them. Yes, yes, I know, perspiration, but this was wet from leakage, not sweat. Luckily the insulation was good enough that my feet weren't cold: I just used Sealskinz the second season and did mostly fine. All told, I'm bummed to have spent $150 on boots that were only truly functional for one season. Save your money - buy a different pair.

Good and comfortable boot

They were good for a few years then fell apart. Poorly designed, not durable

Bugaboot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feel great so far. Sizing is a little on the small side. I ordered a 10.5 which is what I normally wear and they were too small. The return was hassle free and I ended up purchasing the next level up in a 11.5 and they are perfect
