Why We Like The Coleman PEAK1 Wireless Solar Charger + Rechargeable Headlamp
We can leave the extra batteries at home, thanks to the Coleman PEAK1 Wireless Solar Charger Case + 450 Lumen Rechargeable Headlamp. The case has a solar panel on top, so we can clip the case to the top of our tent or the outside of our pack to catch direct sunlight to charge up the included headlamp. Powered by a Lithium-Ion battery, the lamp maxes out at 450 lumens and features six modes to let us adjust the light output to the conditions for the best vision and best battery life. It's easy to use with dual buttons, a battery lock, built-in battery indicator, and a pivoting lens to shine the light where we need it. Best for backpacking and camping, this charger-headlamp combo lets us hike in lowlight conditions, read in the tent, and enjoy nights in the fresh air.

Light source for my future existence
In a few months I'll be heading up to the high Sierras to live out my life living off the land. Consequently functionality to weight ratio is very important as I'll be carrying my total existence on my back. So I came up with the idea that I would like a headlamp with it's own solar charger that I could wear on my head while traversing the Sierras. This unit provides that with the added bonus of being very well designed and very high quality. I now feel extremely confident that this unit will be the only lighting that I will have/need during dark hours enduring my existence in the Sierras.

Great headlamp

I have used it on a few hikes so far and can't wait for more adventures to use it even more! I definitely recommend this high quality headlamp.

My favorite headlamp, by far!

The headlamp itself is very comfortable to wear, is easily adjustable, and has multiple light settings for various occasions. Great job, Coleman!!!

Solar charger works!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this headlamp on a lark to have as a spare, and it's quickly replaced my (formerly favorite) headlamp for camping and other outdoor purposes. The solar charging case works, and works well - even in cloudy weather, I was able to fully charge it by putting it on an indoor windowsill. The dedicated red light button is another excellent feature.

Yes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use to have a headlight that I would use for the red light function. I was looking into replacing it with another and luckily came across this one. If I recall correctly, it was the same brand as well. However, I enjoy this headlight a lot more. The light functions are pretty bright and I love it. You can actually see what is ahead and in front. I don't feel as though I'm straining my eyes. It also has a red light function, which I'm super happy about. It's neat that it comes with its own carry case and has an option for cable or solar. It's a pretty neat feature. In addition, it fits well around my head and it's comfortable. Overall, I have been enjoying it.

Excellent for when the power goes out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good thing I had this when the power when out. Coleman continues to deliver high quality with this headlamp. It is a very handy tool to have, and it also has a red LED flashlight to not blind others when I'm looking for stuff in the dark. It is incredibly versatile, charges rapidly, and lasts for hours before it needs to charge again. This increases my confidence in Coleman brand products, which was already high to begin with.

Very Bright, Long Lasting Battery, Compact Case
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Peak1 Rechargeable Headlight is amazingly bright and lasts long. The charging case is convenient and compact, and the solar charging is great when you are away from a power source. The only downside is to keep the case from being water-resistant, the zipper is a little hard to open with the seal around the zipper. I also wish the case had a pocket to store the charging cable to better organize the inside, but that would have sacrificed some of the compactness.

Durable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best headlamp I have used so far! It is really comfortable and super easy to use. We use it mainly for walking the dog late at night, but sometimes it comes in handy for doing work the attic or garage, which doesn't have enough light. I especially like that there is a built in battery indicator that tells me how much power I have remaining. I find that charging it is also a quick simple process. I just put the headlamp in my sun room or in my car and the sun charges it with no problems! The quality is pretty good so I'm sure this one will last a while.

Very cool concept
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I really really like this product. I love the idea of it being solar powered - I don't need to be using the headlamp during the day, so it can be charging all day. Then, at night it's ready to go again. I have ha solar powered products in the past that have not worked that well over time, so I'm interested to see if this lasts.
