Not what I expected.
Doesn't really keep the water cold. And very long.

Will make my camelbak usable in temperatures below freezing
I have not got to use this insulated tube since I bought it, however, I know that it will allow me to use my camelbak system in temperatures below freezing. I’ll review again next winter when I take it to temperatures closer to zero.

Too long for my pack
I have a Phantom 20 ski pack, which is great. I got this tube because it's insulated. Unfortunately, it's too long and sticks out from the shoulder strap pocket and can freeze. I wish they made a shorter one.

Horrible
I ran in 7 degree weather over the weekend before mile 2 (10 minutes into the run) the straw was frozen. It staid frozen even after I placed the straw next to my body to try to warm it up

Great addition to my Camelbak set up
I recently purchased the insulated tube for my Camelbak set up, as it wasn’t available some years ago when I first purchased my Camelbak items. I am an avid motorcyclist and ride cross the country during the summer. I have an insulated cooler that I store the reservoirs in and run the drinking tube out through a port, and up to my helmet so I can drink as I ride. The insulated tube has made a big difference in keeping the water cool from the cooler to the bite valve near my helmet. Great addition to my set up and the Camelbak product line!!!
