Looking like something straight from a space-age lab, Burton's mad scientists designed the Burton Genesis Re:Flex Snowboard Binding with next-gen tech for plenty of response without feeling like you're strapped into anything at all. Super thin, yet insanely comfortable Hammockstraps cradle your ankles in bliss, allowing your boot to flex naturally without extra material inhibiting motion. And that's before you factor in the toe-conforming Gettagrip Capstraps, which offer a truly superior fit without excess slop.

This medium-flexing binding attacks anything in its path, from steeps to jump lines without skipping a beat, thanks to its innovative Kickback Hammock Hi-Back. The big story with this Hi-Back is its two-piece design or "Kickback Hammock." This unique design cradles the back of your boot for tons of comfort, allowing you to ride without feeling the highback at all, especially when you're buttering and tweaking off freestyle features. There's a stiffer, dedicated highback behind the Hammock piece, which comes into play once you've fully engaged into a turn, providing the response and support of a dedicated highback for blasting turns and carving from edge-to-edge. Working in unison, this design reduces pressure on your calf while retaining the response needed to charge the entire mountain. 

The Genesis has Burton's award-winning Double Take Buckles and helical teeth ladders, allowing you to strap in quickly with its "Insta-Click" feature. This feature requires much less effort than traditional buckle and ladder designs, making it easier to strap in, but also offering more robust performance without stripping of the ladder.

Sitting upon a Re:Flex baseplate, the Genesis Re:Flex removes unnecessary materials, reducing the deadspot inherent to traditional mounting discs. This design has a minimized baseplaste and hinged disc that maximizes the flex of your board, also reducing weight for a lighter overall package. The Re:Flex baseplate works with any mounting system available, mounting to 4-hole, 3D, and Channel systems right from the box.
