    Top-shelf comfort and response.

The Genesis Re:Flex Snowboard Binding was designed with the goal of creating the most comfortable binding ever, while still retaining the power needed to satisfy the needs of Burton's team riders. Unquestionably a success, the Genesis combines anatomical design with suspension technology to deliver an incredible fit and excellent response, making it ideal for everyone from park slayers to powderhounds.

The Kickback Hammock highback uses a suspension system to cradle the back of your boot for immediate response on turns and reduced fatigue during long days. Advanced composites keep the baseplate lightweight, yet strong, and it offers a responsive feel for quick edge-to-edge transitions. FullBED cushioning soaks up shock from flat landings and choppy snow, and AutoCANT aligns your joints in a natural position to alleviate pressure on your knees and enhance ollie power.

The Hammockstrap ankle strap has a nylon strip running down the center that gives you a direct connection to your board at all times, meaning your board instantly responds to your every command. At the front, the Supergrip Capstrap locks down your boot securely without creating pressure points, so you'll never have to sweat about it slipping off mid-run. Double Take buckles have teeth on both sides to make clicking in faster and smoother, not to mention more secure.

    Broke after the 2nd run

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Went on my 2nd run using these new bindings and the strap to tighten my boot just snapped right off in my hand. On top of that, I go to look back at the bindings and realize the back holster (white piece that holds up your boot) is also broken. I didn't touch a thing and it just broke. Do NOT buy this product.

    Holy high-flying comfort-control Batman!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Yeah, that's right- Dun na na nah nah na nah nah na na - BATMAN! I was flying, like I had a cape on! My Jones Ultracraft puffed glorious powder clouds all over Mammoth's brilliant fresh dump and these bindings gave the flexibility and control to mitigate all the white capped trees I could maneuver around! Seriously... I felt like a damn superhero! These bindings were a huge step up in control- love the fit, the comfort, and tech that went into these bad-boys. I have had two issues with the slide in binding tongues- they sometimes don't channel in correctly. I'd say 1 out of ever 10 times. Otherwise- these are bombtastic and give a level of feel one could fantasize about (because I do!)

    Awesome bindings, yuuuuuge upgrade

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased these bindings after using Flow bindings for the past number of years, and all I can say is WOW, awesome improvement from my last bindings, these are super quick to get in and out of, and are incredibly comfortable.

The Burton Genesis are by far the most comfortable and absorbing binding that I've ever ridden. The hammock ankle strap locks you in without causing pressure points, and the hammock highbacks do an amazing job at absorbing shocks from landings and blasting through the crud. I wasn't a believer until I had a few days on these. They are a medium flex for the whole mountain and I have never felt like they weren't there for me either going through the park or ripping the steeps.

    Feel like a dream

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Upgraded my decade old Burton P1s with these and man have I been missing out on all the new tech. Use these for all-mountain and taken them on tree runs, doubles/gates & all the groomers to get there. A lot of the other reviewers hit the features well, here's my quick summary:
    1. Flex pattern - my board feels responsive without it feeling like I need a super stiff binding. Mind blown
    2. Hammock & straps - very comfortable without feeling like it's loose or unresponsive
    3. Cant - no idea what Burton means by "auto cant" but I used to feel my knees were pushed out on the P1s and don't feel that anymore.

It wasn't instant and I'm still playing around with the settings to get it really dialed in, but that's bindings for you. Shortened the toe strap a knotch mid-day last time I was up and it felt so much more locked in so make even small adjustments and you will love em.

FYI I was concerned on sizing between M or L since my boots are 11. I took my boots into one of BC's store competitors to check it out and landed on a L and think it fits great.

These are virtually the same as the EST, biggest difference being the universal mount, and I had the same feelings after riding these as the EST's, so here is my EST review:

I absolutely love these bindings. They are some of the nicest, versatile bindings I've ridden. I've put them to the test in a day full of park hits, freeride powder, and just ripping on some groomers. They performed on every single day. The "hammock" technology in the highback and ankle strap and very comfortable, even with 3 different pair of boots that I had worn. Never had issues with the toe strap shifting at all, and the "break away" feature on the ankle strap makes strapping in a breeze and not having to worry about stepping on the strap when putting your boot on the baseplate. They are super responsive even being a medium flex.

I would definitely recommend these bindings to anyone that loves shredding everything on the mountain and beyond.

    One of my favorites

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used the Genesis Re:Flex & EST and can say that these are a pretty rad binding. There are a ton of features that I could go over but I'll keep this short and give you a few things I really liked.

The big thing I loved about these was the flex pattern. The highbacks weren't rock hard like other bindings out there. The straps provided a real secure connection, one of the things I think Burton excels at with their bindings. When I demo Burton boards, I do so on the Genesis bindings to keep things consistent but also because this one of their better mid-stiff binding options.

    Favorite Bindings!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Purchased these bindings (2015-2016 models combined with Burton Custom Flying V) after demoing them at my local mountain. Love the technology that Burton has put into this binding along with unique features and style.

The only con i've had with this item is some ripping on the toe straps, but that could be for a multitude of reasons, including how I personally ride and apply pressure on them. I would recommend this product for any rider.
