Inspired by the quick, nimble fish of the same name, the Burton Family Tree Skipjack Snowboard is made for slashing across endless waves of powder and weaving through dense strands of trees. It has a playful, agile personality and a featherweight feel that make it a blast to rip around with whether there's fresh snow or not.
A camber profile with a large rockered nose, tapered tail, and set-back stance come together to provide effortless float in the deepest snow, meaning no more back leg burn. However, this board still rips on hardpack, thanks to the camber underfoot, so you can carve groomers to shreds and blaze through banked slaloms when it's low tide at the resort. The mid-stiff flex is lively and responsive for explosive turns and high-speed stability. However, Squeezebox profiling allows more torsional flex between the bindings without compromising stiffness at the tips, allowing for surfy pow turns and easy steering through tight glades.
