The trails of the Pacific Northwest are bound to be slippery a lot of the time, but the Brooks Cascadia 10 Men's Trail Running Shoe isn't going to back down from some slickness. The grippy rubber sole is designed with integrated Crash Pad flex segments, which give you tons of sensitivity and control on all sorts of terrain, while the BioMoGo DNA midsole provides lightweight cushioning and the forefoot rock shield keeps stones from destroying your shoes and feet. With a 10mm drop, the Cascadia's certainly not a minimalist shoe, but it isn't particularly heavy, either, even when you take into account the moisture-wicking lining and classic lace-up construction.
