If boot-top pow and ski lodge nachos sound far better than a fancy dinner and perfectly manicured groomers, the Blizzard Women's Samba Ski might be your weapon of choice. The combination of rocker in the tip and tail with camber underfoot makes the Samba nimble and floaty in mellow pow and mixed snow conditions, while making sure it still has excellent grip and stability on hardpack and variable snow. With 98mm of mountain-shredding width underfoot, the Samba's quick enough edge-to-edge to rail turns on the groomers, nimble enough to shimmy through tight trees, and stable enough to push the envelope without making you feel like doom is rapidly approaching.
This playful board features a lightweight poplar, beech, and ISO wood Lite Core to keep things smooth and fluid on groomers, stable at high speeds, and poppy when you want to bounce off terrain features. Blizzard's Flipcore technology means that the ski's core is actually placed upside-down in the mold, providing natural tip and tail rocker for easy-peasy float and ridiculously smooth turn initiation, and the full-length sidewalls provide reliable and bombproof edge grip while resisting the torsional twisting that can make a ski feel sketchy under hard edging. As a finishing touch, Blizzard laid down a Titanal sheet under the binding area for super-solid retention, because pulling out a heelpiece is a really good way to ruin your day.
