Why We Like The Hustle 11 Ski

In order to capitalize on every opportunity for soft turns, we click into the Blizzard Hustle 11 Ski. This ski is built for confident turns in the backcountry and comfortable walking on the skin track, in that order. Sure the lightweight poplar and paulownia stringers in the core will make the uphill a breeze, but the Carbon DRT laminate and beefy beech stringer create a damp and powerful ride on the way down. Toss in a stable and maneuverable sidecut and we have our new go-to hard-charging backcountry skis.

Weighs significantly more than specified

I bought a pair of 188cm Hustle 11 skis and they weigh 2150g each. That is 200g more than Blizzard claims here on their website. That weight difference is unfortunately the difference between a viable backcountry ski and a dedicated resort ski. I only weighed the skis due to a few reviews on other websites from people who found the same issue, so want to make sure others have this information before purchasing. If buying for resort use this is not an issue, but if you are going to use as a backcountry ski, beware of the weight.

False Claims from Blizzard on Weight

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought a pair of 188s and they weigh 2150g each. That is 200g more than Blizzard claims on their website and here on Backcountry. Pretty egregious false claims from Blizzard for a ski advertised as a backcountry ski. This is full on resort ski weight. I only weighed the skis due to a few reviews on other websites from people who found the same issue. Happy to have discovered this before I mounted them with a pair of Alpinists... I'm sure they ski fine, but at this weight, this is not a backcountry ski.

Really love the pair I got. After big storms these skis have shown me a good time. They feel light on the way up, especially light swing weight as the tips and tails are extra light. I love most how they ski and I still haven't found the speed limit. 10/10 I would recommend to anybody that loves touring and also loves shredding.
