Can’t get the ones off which I didn’t like anyway
Bought a new set of z-poles which I like except the basket doesn’t have a slot to hold the collapsed pole together. I can only use a Velcro strap to do this. So I bought these tips which have the aforementioned locking slot to replace mine but can’t get the tips off despite multiple attempts with submersion in boiling water & pliers. Just wish the poles came with it in the first place!!

Good quality, easy to install
Bought these hoping to hack the fact that the snowbaskets I need are out of stock (the ones for Distance Carbon Z poles)-- thinking I could just update the tips and then put on the Alpine Z-Pole baskets. Nope. At any rate, the instructions were good and in three minutes I had the new tips on. Pretty sure my Distance Carbon Z poles won't last another 8+ years but at least they'll die with renewed tips :)

Great replacement
Instead of having to throw these away, I was able to replace the warn tips. Thanks for selling parts for alder gear to extend its lifespan!

New places - continued enjoyment
As I aged the hiking tip for the New England Mountains needed to be changed for Florida street balance - the rubber tips are perfect - same poles more opportunities to enjoy them. to enjoy

Very easy replacement
If I knew it was this easy to replace these tips, I would have done it a few years ago. Also replaced the wrist straps and now my poles are like new again.
