Best of both worlds

It was tough to find a lightweight folding trekking pole that also offered adjustability in length but I am very pleased that I persisted. The Black Diamond Womens Distance carbon FLZ Trekking poles are everything I hoped for including ease of collapsability and comfort in the hand.

Da Bomb!

Just took my poles out for their first adventure, a 3-day backpack trip in Bears Ears National Monument. They performed awesome. So super helpful to have, especially during all the drop in/out of all the washes in Grand Gulch. Helped my balance on all the over/under various branches also. Being so lightweight, there was no arm fatigue or neck discomfort from using them. Super easy to 'deploy' also with the quick lock mechanism. The ability to change heights is super important to me as I usually have a pole-pitch tent for backpacking (though not this trip for desert camping). Very happy with my purchase.

Just received my new pair as my old one finally gave up on me. The seems even lighter and the design to open and close them is even easier than before! Love them! I am ready for more awesome treks!!!

Light weight poles

Got these poles for my wife and used them in some hard trails near Pinecrest lake. They are the lightest Z poles we have and worked perfectly in our hike.

Light weight, easy to carry trekking poles

These poles are perfect for my purpose. They're easy to keep in my pack when I don't need them, and they're super light weight. I would highly recommend them.

Great for trail running

I love this poles. I used them for the first time in the second half of my 50 mile trail race and they were a huge help. My hands do get a bit sweaty holding them, but great otherwise and easy to extend/break down.

Recently upgraded my BD Distance Z poles (from 2016) to these. I'm in love with how much lighter they are - perfect for long distance, UL adventures in the High Sierra. A huge upgrade in my opinion. I have the BD Carbon Cork poles for super long/rugged backpacking trips, but these would also work for that too. So glad I finally upgraded - and got the adjustable version of these too!
