Pole bent

I was surprised when I slipped going uphill and I used the pole to keep from falling completely down but to my surprise the lower section completely bent. Only the second time using, I expected more strength in the material than that

First 100 miles and no issues so far. Rocky descents, mud, water crossings, and they haven't slipped or fouled. The redesign on the Flick Lock is subtle , but makes a huge improvement on adjusting the poles quickly and not wearing down your fingertips.

Working great so far

This is my first time buying trekking poles so I’m not an expert by any means. But so far I like them. They ack up really small, and are very comfortable when using them.

Lightweight and good grip

These poles seem great and I loved the soft grip. Unfortunately, I had to return these for the Alpine Poles as for my upcoming alpine trek, they would be much better. Otherwise, nothing wrong with the product

Purchased for Backpacking

I received the Pursuits yesterday. In the past, I have backpacked with a hiking pole (willow) or with no poles. I was concerned I wouldn’t feel comfortable. We took a hike with loaded packs yesterday and did about 5 miles. It took about two miles to get into a rhythm. They felt reasonably comfortable the last three. I’m still occasionally bumping my keys in my pocket or hitting another hiker, but overall I think these will work very well on our trek next year. I did a lot of research and selected this pair as a great balance of flyweight, durability, price, and comfort. I am very pleased thus far. I do wish the poles were offered with rubber tips. I ordered the screw in version separately, but will likely need ones that offer surface area to prevent damage to the trail.

Whippets/ attachments?

These poles are great. Question: Are these poles able to receive whippets or other attachments?

Quality poles at a fair price

Really great materials and construction on poles. Worth paying a bit more when your safety is involved.

Hiking Poles

These are great, i love that they are adjustable and really sturdy. I also like the handle material and comfort; I have sweaty hands so appreciate the cork. The handle straps are also nice with light padding for comfort.

Really great

I bought these for my wife since her poles were starting to get loose and collapse when she put weight on them. These poles collapse down very small compared to our older ones, and the stop clips are really easy to use, but seem like they will hold tight. I hope to get another five years out of them.
