Notion SP Pant - Women's

Love these pants, but...

I bought these pants a couple months ago. They are great pants overall, but I don't really like that they changed the waistband to be elastic all the way around. My old pair has a drawstring tie in the front and elastic just on the back. These new pants fit too tight in the waist but fit in the hips. I have left all the tags on and not worn them yet as i need to see if i can lose a few pounds so they are more comfortable. So, good pants but beware of the waist fit. These may have to be returned. :-(

I bought these a month ago to hike and use for camping. I have since worn them on 2 easy trails. I even bought my wife a pair as she noticed how often I wore them and the variety of usage. Going to test them for an upcoming 10k trail run that involves some muddy areas. Love that these are tapered at the ankle for comfort and mobility.

Pants are stylish and fit well in the waist but were too long for me. You can flip up the elastic cuff to shorten them a bit and it doesn’t look bad but still were too baggy in the length for me. Otherwise I really liked the color, pockets, design… I wish the sizing guide in the reviews could account for length instead of just ‘too big, too small, true to size’.

Great fit

Super happy with the fit! I’m 5’11 and thin, the small fits great.

I have four pairs

I LOVE these pants. I use them to climb, hike, and travel. Super comfortable and versatile. I like that the SP notion pants sit higher on the waist. The regular notion pants made me feel like i had a muffin top 24/7 and it was awful. I ended up giving those away once I gave the notion SP a try. So worth it.

Second pair

My go to pant for any activity. Whether it’s camping or running around with my toddler. Size wise: I’m usually in between small/medium and I chose small (after trying on the medium and finding them a bit too baggy). They have lots of give so the small is great. Perfect alternative to always wearing leggings haha

Wore out quickly

I have 5 pairs that I have bought for working in a shop, thinking they would last because they were designed for movement (rock climbing). Within 2 years, I have had 4 pairs rip in the butt. I am disappointed that they don’t last. The style of the pants are great, but their durability doesn’t hold up.

Best.Pants.Ever

I now have these in three colors. They’re ridiculously comfortable, flattering and practical. You can climb, hike, bike or wear them on a flight or to walk the dog. Love the midrise waist- so cute with a cropped tank. I will never stop buying these. They’re my absolute go-to.
