Works nicely with headlamp, as a backup. Highly recommended herein. Charge time checked with Solar Panel and works fine.

Not good in the cold

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought that rechargeable battery not looking at the specs and expecting it to perform great in cold ( < 32F) temp but the first time that I tried it snowshoeing, the icon 700 light was weak and when the temperature reached about 27 F, the light simply was almost gone. The specs are stating that the battery is good from 32F to 104F so it makes sense but this battery is useless for me in the cold. This is on top of the other problems mentioned in other reviews (rear strobe light not working when the battery is connected to the lamp etc). Anyway, this is a failed product. I will revert to the AA pack.

Trouble charging and holding a charge

No matter how long I leave this battery on the charger it does not completely charge, nor does it hold a charge for seemingly any longer than the smaller batteries used in small lamps.

Icon Battery Problems

I need to call customer support and find our why a new battery with a huge capacity dies after less than 2 hours. When I am using the factory battery pack that came with the headlamp, I get 6 hours on 4 AA's. This high capacity rechargeable pack has no capacity. Like I said, I need to call before I commit to this review. I am 110% positive they will help me resolve my issue. I will update.

It's a nice rechargeable battery

It's a nice rechargeable battery pack for the headlamp. Definitely saves having to continously buy batteries. Its also nice to help charge up your cell phone in cases of emergency. The only thing that sucks is that, the power charging port is a micro. Just wish it was a c-port.

Icon Rechargeable Battery is amazing!

I love this battery for its long life and that you can charge other devices from it if needed. Only con is that it is a bit heavy so I use the long cable and keep it attached to my pack instead of wearing on the head strap.

Great battery life

Great battery life and I also love the ability to mount the battery on my body to keep it warm during cold weather adventures.

Werkt niet goed

De hooflamp of de accu werkt, maar kunnen niet gelijktijdig gebruikt worden, als de hoofdlamp aan is werkt het rode ligt op de accu niet, indien de kabelaansluiting wat losser gedraaid word werk de rode verlichting op de accu wel maar de hoofdlamp niet meer. Jammer dat er geen technische ondersteuning mogelijk is in de Nederlandse taal.

Wanted to switch because original Icon had battery leaks; much better arrangement; not a give away though!!!

Can't used it with the Icon 700

**excuse my english, I'm french Canadian. Cant used the flashing red light and the battery life dispender while the battery pack is connect to the Icon 700. The head lamp just don't turn on. When the battery pack is lock, it's working, but you can't unlock it while it's plugged on the headlamp. You need to unplug it to acess your battery life and the flashing red light(who is supposed to be a back head safty lamp) Can't relate on the battery life, didnt used it much, the battery pack who come with the ICON 700 is way more easy to use.
