Good fit
Im a 31" waist and went for the size small based on a review and they fit great. That said, I prefer a lil bit of a snug fit for bottoms. Great for casual wear and sport climbing.

Excellent Shorts
My shorts inventory has been long overdue for an upgrade, and these shorts are perfect to getting sends and looking good while doing it! It's been awhile since I've been able to get off the wall and straight to an event, but the Dirtbag shorts fill the bill for sure!

Great shorts!
Very comfy. Nice quality and the color is rich and true to the photos. I got the XL. I am a size 38 and the shorts are slightly loose. Fine for lounging but they slip down a bit if I have my phone and wallet in my pockets. Not sure if I should of gone down a size but the drawstring works well.

Hard to say
Followed the fit guide and these are far too small. 31” waist and ordered a medium - fit like bike shorts. I hate sending stuff back, such a hassle.
