Why We Like The Black Diamond Coefficient LT Hybrid Hooded Jacket
The Coefficient LT Hybrid Hoody is a lighter and stretchier version of Black Diamond's Coefficient fleece. Built for high-octane activities in colder conditions, it features a lightly insulated front panel with some Polartec grid fleece against the skin for added breathabilty and moisture-wicking to keep us drier (and therefore warmer) when we start to sweat on tough ascents up switchbacks or skin tracks. The Coefficient LT also features plenty of stretch and gusseted underarms to maintain a full range of motion when we're climbing, running, or skiing.

Simply the best light mid-layer.
The Coefficient LT Hybrid Hoody is the perfect mid-layer for cool and cold. It will take the chill out of those three season mornings and give you more layering options during the winter months. The hood is big and comfortable and will keep your noggin warm while you warm up, and the full zipper makes quick changes a breeze. No regrets at all on adding this to my wardrobe.

As always - the best
Wanted a lighter zip up as a layer on the cold days or outer layer on the warm. This is perfect! Just amazed how well every product from BD is made and the quality of fabric is so good. always true to size. As an avid adventurer myself, a coach and teach, BD is my go to brand

Nailed it
Great product BD nailed it on this one. I am going to buy a second one. I also purchased one for my wife who also loves hers. Warm, light weight, hood does not get in the way when layering. Don't pass on this because of the hood if you're not a good person. Good works great under helmet and is great for protecting against the sun. Have worn it with high intensity activities and was really happy with how it breathes and wicks moisture. BD nailed it on this one.

Great hoodie! My only complaint
Great hoodie! My only complaint is the length. I'm 6'4, 200lbs, thinner frame, 41" chest and the arm length is perfect, but the length is shorter. I purchased a large and will be returning for an XL.

Picked up a full zip Coefficient quite a while ago on sale, probably because I was lucky. It’s lightweight warmth reserved it as a layer I put on right before heading out for the day. I can tell it wicks perspiration very well when I pull my phone out. It’s the perfect layer between my base layer/s for the day and my choice of packable down weight before I put on my shell. To me, the mid layer is key to regulating warm, and this on is by far my favorite! Thanks Black Diamond!

A little flimsy, returned it.
I love my Factor hoody and wanted to give the Coefficient a try. The Coefficient is a little flimsy, and the thumb loops seem like they won't survive much wear and tear. I wound up returning it. For this price point, I want something more durable.

Nice addition to the layering
Lighter than I expected, but as warm as I was looking for! Hood is nice, and chest pocket is nice. Pockets would be nice when worn outside, but they would make a bit bulkier. Very pleased. True to size (6’1” 225 = XL)

Light and warm for it's minimalness
I've only worn this item a few days but it is very versatile. Packs down down to a very small space yet provides surprising warmth when deployed. Wing goes right through which is fine for high output missions. A windproof layer adds any extra protection you might need.

Awesome piece of gear
This is a great addition on cooler days, it breathes well, but keeps you surprisingly warm on cold mornings. Great for a cold approach to keep you warm, but won’t have you sweating.
