Birds will be birds.

The thing about birds is they very rarely fly in a straight line—they like to squiggle, slash, and bounce around, which is obviously a lot more fun. The same could be said for skiing, which is why you'd rather treat the mountain like your own personal playground, rather than some strict boarding school where fun isn't allowed. Luckily, Black Crows shares your free-as-a-bird philosophy and built the Women's Camox Birdie Ski, so you can squiggle, slash, bounce, and even straightline as much as you damn well please.

The Camox Birdie has been in production for a few seasons now, but it has been redesigned with more rocker in the tip and tail, along with a semi-cap construction that puts ABS sidewalls underfoot that step down to a cap construction in the tip and tail. All this adds up to a ski that's more playful and forgiving, but still plenty stable to ski fast in variable conditions. The mid-fat waist will float the occasional boot-top powder and rolls quickly from edge to edge when you're skiing groomers or hardpack. Mild camber underfoot gives the Camox Birdie the edge hold it needs to be considered a true all-mountain ski, while fiberglass laminates add the torsional rigidity you need to really open them up down wide-open groomers and wind-buffed slopes.
