I bought these for a camping trip in the fall to keep my feet warm and now i carry them with me everywhere! They pack down pretty tight, are light weight and don't take up much room in your pack. As soon as i have my tent set up i throw these on and tromp around for the rest of the night, you can wash them! I mean I've put these through the ringer and they preform AWESOME. Be careful toasting your toes by the fire, these are flammable.

I've brought these camping a few times but mostly just like them for around the house on tile floors. Traction on them isn't so awesome, but I almost always have cold feet and they have kept me warm numerous times. Would not recommend wearing them outside AT ALL (or even on a dirty floor), as they will also get dirty pretty quick and can be a pain to clean...and will also bring dirt into things like your sleeping bag or bed. The version that I have these in though have a light brown bottom; it looks like this may have been improved in the newer models. For the price, I was pretty satisfied with these.

The specs say the lining is shearling. Guessing not! Down? What is the fill power?

Hi Candi - these have a synthetic fill that should keep you warm down into the 20's if being worn camping or backpacking. The lining itself is indeed shearling (that would be the material against your foot).

Cosy but not sweaty! I sleep so cold when I'm camping i can't wait to wear them in a sleeping bag. OK BUT... the little rubber logos on the sole... they are the only grippy bits and they wore off after a week or whatever. Now they're kinda slippery on linoleum. I still love them tho. WORTHY.

I thought these would be down, but I'm not sure... But, these are very warm, and more trim than other down ones, so no tripping over your feet. I wear size 11, bought XL in Merlot, and the fit is perfect. My toe barely touches the end. I would certainly buy these again. They do not look like they would hold up well outdoors, which we all do anyway. So, no running around to the store because they feel so good.

I purchased these to prevent my husband bringing cold feet to bed. We have hardwood and tile in our home. These are perfect for keeping feet warm in cooler weather - little sleeping bags for your feet! Ordered a size up and they fit perfect =D Can't beat the price
warm boots!

I'm a size 6.5 and the small seems to be a bit tight.
They are warm but the only concern would be that the anti slip grip at the bottom is wearing very fast. Not sure how long they'll last. Beside the bottom, I love them!
Warm, good but run big

so warm! and a small fits my size 5 foot perfectly, so not sure about the running-small claim. also, i bought a pair for my friend, and she got the M for her size 7.5 foot and is equally happy with the fit. great-looking and warm, exactly what we wanted.

I got these booties for a cold camping trip in the Unita mountains, temps around 35 at night. These booties keep my feet so cozy, I wore a thin pair of snowboard socks with them, I have size Medium for a size 7 foot and they are a little to big but work.

Got the Baffin slippers today, put them on and it was scratchy inside. I thought maybe it was the product tag scratching away at my feet but it was the lining or the piping which brings the bottom of the slipper together with the top of the slipper. I have sensitive skin so this is clearly not the slipper for me. Guess I will keep looking for that slipper that keeps my feet warm and is comfortable to wear more than 5 minutes at a time.
awesome but sole wore out

I absolutely loved these slippers and wore them for two winters around the apartment. However, before the first winter was done, I had already hand-sewn fabric onto the bottoms in a desperate attempt to further their lives (holes and tears happened in the soles a few months in). I did that two more times before giving up. I know they're tent booties so maybe not really for massive indoor use - I really wish Baffin would make some just like these but with a rubber bottom for non-tent use.

I took these on my Everest Base Camp trek, they were prefect for when I would get in at night after a long day in the trekking boots. They were light and packed down fairly small-for synthetic. They wash well, but they do run just a little small

absolutely LOVE these slippers! i possibly have the worst cold feet ever. i could wear snow boots outside in the middle of summer and still have cold feet. these are seriously the warmest things i have ever put my feet into. i've worn them probably daily for the last three months and they're still in great condition! highly recommend these =)

I bought the Merlot/Black, and I love them. They are extremely comfortable, with a soft sole. They do not have any cushion in the sole, nor do they have a hard sole. They are not meant to be worn outside, and are primarily house slippers. I did run out to the mail box in them, but I wouldn't recommend doing that more than once or twice. My feet are very narrow, and get VERY cold, very easily. I have found myself taking these off several times, especially when worn with socks. I wear a 7 exactly, and the mediums fit me toe to heel. If I wore a 7.5, I would recommend sizing up to a Large. I love these, and have considered getting a second pair. One to leave at home, and one to carry everywhere with me!
