Great for wide hips and thick thighs!

OBSESSED with these hiking pants!! I've put in about 50 miles in these and can confidently say they are incredible. I've struggled so much in my life to find a pair of zip of pants that sit high enough on my hips to not give my plumbers crack the entire hike, and these fit the bill. My hips are about 45" so definitely had to get the XXL but they fit my hips and butt really well. The waist gaps a lot on my proportions, but the adjustable belt that is included takes care of that. Additionally, these are wide enough in the thigh that the zipper doesn't gauge into my quads like other brands. The shorts are also long enough that I avoid any inner thigh chafing. These are lightweight, breathable and just all around comfortable. Some feedback however, is that the hem of the pant is far too narrow for removing the legs over hiking boots. I have to take my boots completely off to unzip these into shorts, but for the maximum comfort elsewhere I'll take it! Important to note that the hand pockets do not have zippers so when using trekking poles on steep climbs I do get a little worried that items in my pockets may fall out- but the pockets are quite deep so everything has stayed in place on high grade inclines.

I am always a size M in pants, 29" waist. But these were so tight! I couldn't comfortably sit. Returned and will try a large, because I really liked the zip off ability. Just be aware they may run small.

I searched online for days trying to decide which pants to get and I’m so glad I went with these. I couldn’t seem to find any other high waisted options, let alone adjustable at the waist, and these check every box. I’m 5’3, about 112-117 lbs and have shorter legs with a longer torso. XS fits like a glove, not too tight on my bigger thighs and not too big on my smaller waist which is always my problem. Pants usually fit either my waist or thighs but not both. I was worried about these being too long but they are a good length to wear with hiking boots and the cord at the bottom helps them not to drag on me. These are probably not going to work for everyone but if you have a similar shape to me then these are amazing! So glad I decided on this pair!!

I love these pants! I have a larger butt with a smaller waist, and I struggle to find hiking pants that work to fit my bottom without being way too big in the waist. These are perfect! They're higher waisted as well, and I prefer that when I'm hiking/climbing.

Love these pants! Was worried because I saw a lot of very different reviews regarding sizing but they fit perfectly. I got a medium which is great, almost ordered a small and a medium but no way the small would have fit. I am 5'5 but with legs about the length as someone 5'8. Athletic curvy build with large thighs and calves. Size 8 usually in pants. Maybe 140lbs? Haven't weighed myself. The material is great and stretchy; I've even fallen asleep on the couch with these! All the pockets fit a iPhone 13 very well. I bought the purple and loved them so much I also got the black. The purple does stain easier but makes sense given the color. Built in belt is handy and easily adjustable. High waisted is great as well; the crotch is a little long but I think that is due to my small torso.

Great for a booty, not strong

I like how these fit me because I am 5’6” and I have a bigger bum from lifting a lot. They have room in the thigh for athletic legs and space in the back. I think for someone with long legs and a backside that these are fantastic. That being said, they’re weak pants. I got caught on a tree branch and it ripped a hole on the leg of the pant. Since backcountry doesn’t have the same return policy as REI, I can’t bring them back after they got torn. I can probably fix it, but it’s not great that a simple tree branch can rip these pants. Not tough at all. I guess for the price you can expect that, but disappointing nonetheless.

I was super excited when these pants came. The fabric feels great but they arrived with a hole in the pocket and the fit is too narrow in the hips but fits everywhere else. I'm slightly disappointed but I think I may be able to make them work.

I LOVE this pants. As someone who is pear shaped and prefers high waisted pants, these are an absolutely dream come true. I can never find pants that really fit me but these fit perfectly. Even the shorts are great with thicker thighs. I

These pants were made for me! I’m tall with smaller waist and wide hips. These pants worked perfect while hiking the Rocky Mountains.

Weird

Fits extremely weird and now I lost $7 to return it. I was really looking forward to these pants but even if I sized down they probably would have still been too big. I usually wear a medium and when I pulled them out they looked like an XXL. I returned them immediately.
