Hardest wax I've ever worked with...

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I agree with everything in ohe3820935's review: The wax goes on thick and cools hard as a rock. When scraping it comes off like chunks of plastic rather than typical fluffy flakes. I had to bust out the metal scraper and apply a lot of elbow grease.

It provided a fast enough ride but no different from other waxes I've used which are easier to work with.

not worth the $

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Even at the current $5 a bar for this stuff (or the $3 sale price I've seen before), I wouldn't buy it. It doesn't smell that great, it's hard to apply, and it doesn't scrape well. It's fine going down the hill, just your average wax, but applying it is a hassle, it never gets smooth under the iron and it's all crusty when you scrape it. I'd go with the cheap toko stuff instead, it glides on like a dream under the iron, easy to scrape.
