Good times are guaranteed in this all-mountain plank slasher.

Your excuse for ditching your buddies lies in the Atomic Alibi Ski. With this all-mountain ripper on your feet, it's hard to resist popping into the trees for a little bit of soft snow and then dashing ahead to pounce on fresh corduroy before it's all skied out. Designed with an All Mountain Rocker, wood core, and metal laminate, the Alibi delivers a super-smooth ride in all conditions, so of course you're not going to hold back.

Its All Mountain Rocker profile provides versatile performance both on and off trail. And because of the Alibi's rockered tip and tail, you're able to bust through crud, float atop of pow, and make sweet, buttery turns through soft snow. Thanks to its regular camber underfoot and 98mm waist, the Alibi grips hardpack and groomers like a champ for a super-smooth ride down any terrain. Atomic engineers also gave this sweet all-mountain rockered ski a bigger radius at the tip and a smaller radius at the tail for easy turn initiation and optimum grip out of turns.

Equipped with Step Down Sidewall construction for solid strength and durability, the Alibi is ready for seasons of wicked fun riding. A wood core features a metal laminate that runs the entire length of the ski for greater stability and strength at high speeds.

Fun skis

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are a really fun set of skis. Definitely lightweight. Turn initiation is almost effortless. Really easy to cruise through tight spots (trees, ridgeline runs). Stable a high speeds, and rip on groomers. Haven't had a chance to use these on soft snow yet. But, for spring conditions and hard pack they're really nice.

Looking for skis for days with the kids. Already have good pow boards (192 Chetlers), but not quite right for old snow groomer Saturdays. Want something fun, light, stable; for cruising, bumps, leftovers, whatever. Maybe Alibis, or Sick Day 95, or PB&J, or old S3.... Suggestions?

For what you are describing I would consider the Line Sick Day 95, The Line Sir Francis Bacon, or possibly the Atomic Alibi (in that order).

Great Ski

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought last year's model of this ski and I'm extremely impressed. I've pushed this ski hard and it's responded well in every occasion. This ski flies down the groomers with awesome edge hold. It mashes off trail through the powder/bumps/packed powder.
