Why We Like The Eldo Mid LTH GV Hiking Boot

Asolo's Eldo Mid LTH GV Hiking Boot feels remarkably light and more agile than most mid-cuff boots, and we like wearing it on day hikes with technical terrain. The suede upper has GORE-TEX waterproofing, a PU rand, and a rubber toe cap to keep us well-prepared whether the trail is full of rocks, mud, or a bit of both.

Beautiful shoe, narrower than expected

I love Asolo hiking shoes and wear them religiously. My go-to boot is the Stringer and I'm also a fan of the Falcon for a lighter weight option. The Eldo is toward the lighter end of their line of boots but because of the suede and heel a tad heavier than the Falcon. The Eldo is beautifully made and sharp looking. However, it is much narrower than any of my other Asolos and because of that felt a stitch shorter as well and my toes felt cramped and unable to spread wide. I ordered my usual size for this brand of 8 US. It might be a good fit for those who feel their other hiking boots are too wide or have too much room in the front toe area. Sadly, I returned the boot.
