The best pant for the best conditions.
Save your snowboarding days for the best weather, and the 686 Women's Authentic Standard Pant will treat you right. Its InfiDry shell helps keep you dry while fully taped seams prevent water from seeping through the seams for extra protection. Thermal Rated 4 insulation makes this pant feel best in spring skiing, and layering is a breeze for brisk winter days.
A magic fit gives the Authentic Standard a sleek city-inspired design, with slim knees and enough room to layer at the waist and thighs. Air-Flow vents place zippers at each leg for cool airflow intake, and the boot gaiters keep powder out of the legs. Ghetto Slit openings offer easy access to the gaiters, and the Horseshoe Hems reinforce the cuffs for durable longevity. PJ Connect attaches the Authentic Standard to compatible jackets by 686 for complete coverage.

Basic pants - comfortable, great fit
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
If you are looking for inexpensive snowboard pants in a neutral color that are neither too slim nor too baggy - these are those pants. These have a nice mid-rise, too, which I appreciate as I've never understood the low-rise trend for snowboard pants. I am 5'5" and usually wear a size 8 and ordered the Large in the color Steel. Glad I went with the Large - they're a little roomy in the waist, but a belt fixes that problem. If you like a slimmer fit these pants may not be the best choice, but I love them because I can sit down comfortably to strap in, even after a big lunch.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs small
I bought these pants for a sister, she says that the sizing on them were a little off. When she tried the large on they ran a little small but the extra large were too big. She went with the size large to avoid them falling down. Other than sizing the pants are great.
