Comp Cycle Short - Women's

For light compression to allow you to ride longer, harder, turn to 2XU's Women's Comp Cycle short. Comp Cycles aren't full-blown compression shorts, which can, at times be a bit too much for a normal workout. The 200g Lycra fabric comfortably supports muscles and aids bloodflow without the tight feel of medical-grade compression.

For the main body fabric, 2XU decide to use its 200g NEO KINTETIC Lycra, which offers stretch with light compression characteristics. NEO KINETIC aids in the increase of bloodflow through the legs to reduce fatigue. Because of this, it also shortens recovery time, so you can get back on the road more quickly after a hard workout.

For the fit, the Comp Cycle shorts features a multi-panel construction in order to complement the female form. In fact, you'll find that 2XU actually constructed the cut of the shorts on a contour. So, Comp Cycle shorts' shape is predicated on your body in the cycling position. This way, when you move in and out of the saddle, the shorts will move with you, not against you. Additionally, 2XU incorporated a flatlock stitch construction to reduce abrasion. The shorts also feature seamless leg grippers that reduce chafe and irritation, and allow pressure to be more evenly distributed.

At the chamois, 2XU chose the women-specific La Rosa insert. Utilizing a variable density support pattern, the La Rosa. focuses support where your body needs it, not where it doesn't. Accordingly, chafing is reduced, while pressure is evenly distributed away from the nerves. In fact, you'll find that the chamois density is graduated from 120 at the rear to 40 at the nose. And while pressure is sorted through this design, abrasion is further dealt with through the insert's membrane technology. This system not only provides a soft interface between your body and the chamois, but it also regulates moisture buildup and evaporation.
