Why We Like The Osprey Farpoint 40 Travel Pack
Made for hostel hoppers, globe trotters, and adventure travelers, the Farpoint 40 is a streamlined travel pack that Osprey has tricked out with technical features from its legendary backpacking lineup. We can wear it like a backpacking pack with a ventilated Airscape backpanel and adjustable frame that transfers the load from the harness to the hipbelt for safe and comfortable carry. The frame and hipbelt are both stowable to fit easily into overhead bins and train racks or safely check our luggage.

Not What I Wanted, But What I Needed
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Farpoint- best for less busty/short
This bag isn’t beautiful, and it isn’t satisfying, but it’s the best. If you need to put 35-45L of stuff on your back (for travel, most people in most situations maybe don’t!) then this is the best mix of comfort, durability, and surprisingly livability. As unsexy as it is, with packing cubes this bag will hold a surprising amount of stuff, while being comfortable and well organized to boot.
