HR Flow Sensor
If you've got one of Lezyne's comically feature-laden GPS units (which, if you don't, you should probably ditch the overpriced video game console on your bar mount and pick one up), then you're probably in the market for a heart rate monitor. Keep it all kosher with Lezyne's own HR Flow Sensor, a Bluetooth-enable monitor that lets you examine the minutiae of your ticker when the pressure's on. The HR Flow Sensor works with any head unit that speaks Bluetooth, and an LED indicator keeps you abreast of the power situation in the replaceable battery.

Good but watch the battery cover…
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Somehow the first time I went to install the battery, I stripped the battery cover. I don’t consider myself terribly ham-fisted but here we are. I was able to 3d print a replacement cover in ~5 minutes and it’s been flawless since then. Worn 15-20 times and data has been good. It pairs to my polar watch no problem and my data is spectacular compared to the past relying on only the wrist sensor. Woohoo…

Not sure what the complaints are about
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've had two of these over about 3 years and they perform well. I've never had any trouble pairing them with head unit or phone, I've never had trouble with the battery running out. The one problem I did have was that a snap on the back that attaches to the band broke after two years. I bought a new one and had the same problem after six months on the new one. I emailed Lezyne support with a pic of the broken snaps and they replaced not one but both sensor units for free. They also said they had fixed the manufacturing problem on the snaps and this appears to be true. So not perfect, but very good support, great price, and very reliable.
