Amazing sport watch !
Took back my apple ultra 2 which was nice. I’m pretty athletic and love the backcountry/hiking as well. The Apple battery life is horrible vs the epix. Basically the epix does everything better than Apple Watch Ultra 2. The only con would be smartwatch features I guess. Look if you are active and love the outdoors or just focusing on health in general get the EPIX PRO this watch is perfect! Also side note the flashlight feature is actually amazing. I have semi charged it once since buying and still have 59% battery with always on display. Just great!

The Best Training Tool on the Market
As a former Fenix 5 Plus & Epix (Gen II) owner, the Epix Pro (Gen II) continues to deliver as the best training tool on the market. The ability to create custom workouts and view metrics on data-rich screens on my swims, bike rides, and runs is invaluable. Connecting sensors and accessories, such as my heart rate monitor, bike computer, etc. is a breeze. The data collected and sent to the Garmin app is the real bread & butter. Being able to review and learn from the analytics derived from a workout has been a key factor in learning, planning, and progressing. Not to mention, the flashlight on this model has become one of my most used features. I wouldn’t hit a workout without it.

I wanted it for the GPS...
I wanted a new Garmin epix for the GPS (running, cycling, and hiking), but I LOVE IT for the health features -- heart rate, sleep feedback, body battery! I have been getting much better sleep after using sleep suggestions. I find myself referring to those feature MORE than my GPS data. I absolutely love this watch.

So easy to read, and lasts a very long time
Wow, i love this watch. Super upgrade from my previous fenix 7. The new touchscreen is a dream. super easy to read in just about any light. easy and intuitive to swipe through. And 16 days with all the monitoring that i desire (as opposed to 6 with my fenix...ok it was getting pretty old). And recharges superfast. take that apple!

Quality watch and much more
Bought it not really knowing all the features I was getting. Once I had it, to idk a few days to get comfortable with all the settings but once you know how to move around and make selections it’s been great. Like it so much bought my wife the gold smaller model with a sand colored band. She loves it.

Spectacular Display. Unparalleled sporting feature
This is my fourth Garmin watch and it's the best yet. Came back to this after time with an Apple Ultra. The display was the catalyst.

Great watch - exceeded expectations
Longtime Fenix user - Fenix3HR, Fenix 6x... now Epix Sapphire Pro. Very happy - the screen is a huge difference (and flashlight is crazy useful). Software improved. All excellent and such a good look compared to Apple watch, etc.

Amazing!
I upgraded to the Epix Pro from the Forerunner 945LTE. The Epix Pro does everything I want it to do better than the Forerunner. I was nervous about the size and weight on my small wrists, but I don't really notice it much compared to the Forerunner I had. The most surprisingly useful feature for me has been the flashlight. I use it all the time, nearly every day. I'm no longer fumbling for my phone, I just use the watch.
