Why We Like The 404 NSW Carbon Wheel

Zipp is known to produce road components that excel at speeding across the flats and that deliver race performance. It makes sense, seeing as the brand is born from a racing heritage that can be traced back to race car development. They applied that technology to their bicycle components, and the 404 NSW Carbon Wheel is no exception. We like this wheelset's ability to tackle everything from punchy climbs to speeding across the flats. Its deep, 58mm rim depth means this wheelset is strong enough to handle tough races, but it's also light enough to maintain top speeds. The 404 NSW features an aerodynamic rim shape and the ability to run tubeless or traditional clincher tires. With wider tubeless tires, we like that we're able to run lower pressures, and the 404 NSW delivers a smooth ride with low rolling resistance and confidence in cornering.

  • A wheelset that will work with you on punchy climbs or speedy flats
  • Aerodynamic rim shape that integrates wider tubeless tires
  • Runs traditional clincher or tubeless for low pressure and smooth rides
  • 19mm internal rim width and outer rim shape optimal for 25mm tires
  • Cognition hubset reduces drag when we're coasting
  • Brake track ensures powerful and consistent braking in all conditions
  • ABLC Sawtooth dimple design for air flow, speed, and stability
