Overflowing with style.
Inspired by the flow of water from melting snow as winter turns to spring, reinvigorating the land all around us, Zeal created the Cascade Sunglasses. With a construction that helps protect all of our favorite outdoor playgrounds, these shades feature a frame made from Z-resin, which uses natural castor bean oil instead of crude oil, while the E-llume lenses use a plant-based bonding agent instead of a petroleum based bonder. Zeal proves that going green doesn't mean protection or style are going to be sacrificed, with the Cascade filtering 100% of harmful UV-rays and a style that pairs well with any environment. Represent your environmentally-conscious colors with a green canvas carrying pouch for when the clouds roll in.

Zeal Optics Ellume Challenge
Zeal set out to put our ellume lenses to the test in our backyard of Boulder, CO. A quick stop on Pearl Street Mall and Chautauqua Park proved to be the perfect sun-drenched testing grounds to demonstrate the color-enhancing clarity and craftsmanship in our plant-based, polarized lenses. Don't take our word for it; see for yourself.
CASCADE by Zeal Optics
We are fed by gravity. The call of the mountains guides us to push for the summits, but it is the downhill pursuits that drive us. Like water cascading out of the mountains in spring, to refuel the land and our spirits, the CASCADE is a celebration of our roots in the mountains and our thirst to Explore More!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
I usually these out on the trail. I have a large head and medium frame glasses are too small but these are just right. Very comfortable. It should be noted that none of the lens on this model are mirror, though, the pictures may suggest otherwise.
