Comfort that won't quit.
Some brands make so-called "hiking boots" that are better suited for sifting through merchandise at the mall than trekking over alpine talus fields, stepping over downed trees, and crossing shallow creeks blocking the trail. Zamberlan isn't one of these other brands, handcrafting Italian boots with hardcore hikers and backpackers in mind. Following this spirit of premium hiking performance, the Zamberlan Men's Trackmaster GTX RR Hiking Boot wraps your feet in the finest materials for exceptional longevity, unrelenting comfort, and rugged grip alike.
Handcrafted in Italy with a Hydrobloc-treated Perwanger leather upper, you'll immediately appreciate the Trackmaster GTR RR Hiking Boot for its richly detailed appearance, long-lasting durability, and ability to shed outside moisture. Not only is the leather treated with a water-resistant Hydrobloc finish, but it's packing a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane that's reliably waterproof and highly breathable. This keeps your feet dry from the inside-out, so they won't succumb to oncoming rain showers or soak in excess perspiration on the trail.
It's built on Zamberlan's ZBPK backpacking last, which provides the baseline for comfort and support when you're trekking for long distances with a mid-size pack on. Underfoot, an EVA+ wedge absorbs excess shock from fatiguing your every step, especially on rugged mountain trails where rocks pose a major threat to walking comfort. It's finished with a Vibram sole co-developed with Zamberlan for the utmost in sure-footed grip and rugged resiliency, even after logging countless miles slogging down rocky trails.

- Q & A
If you are trying to bridge the gap between casual light hiker and a full blown mountaineering boot this is possibly the boot for you. Light weight, comfortable, yet still stiff and equipped to tackle tough terrain. The fit was true but if you have a Wide foot perhaps look elsewhere. Iâll give the boot five stars for the following reasons.
