These boots are dope. They are very sturdy, fully waterproof, and have great grip. Perfect for an avid backpacker! Two things: 1. Plan to spend a good amount of time breaking these in. They are very stiff. 2. The sizing guide is terrible. I bought my standard boot size and it was perfect. If I had followed Zamberlan's size guide I would've missed the mark by 1.5 US sizes. These seem great for backpacking in many conditions, but might not give enough warmth in winter depending on where you are and what socks you wear. They are definitely 100% waterproof - a claim many companies make and rarely deliver on. Zamberlan nailed it.

I hike everyday on very rocky, sometimes muddy, steep trails. These boots are very comfortable, hold up very well to the rocks, and look great too! They keep my feet dry while crossing creeks and during the rain. I have a different pair (different brand) that I alternate with but I always wish I were wearing this pair. I wish these were easier to find and that Back Country carried the black pair. I would definitely buy them if they did. I also love knowing I can resole them when necessary. My normal shoe size is 7.5 or 7 when there are not half sizes. I bought these in an 8 and they are comfy with thick hiking socks.
